Implementation of IoT in Home Automation using android application
Keywords:
IoT, Automation, Sensors, Android ApplicationAbstract
Today’s world functions on technology and machines, IOT (The Internet of Things (IoT) is a system of interrelated computing devices, mechanical and digital machines, objects, animals or people that are provided with unique identifiers and the ability to transfer data over a network without requiring human-to-human or human-to-computer interaction.”) provides the user with various advanced features to interact with technology and make it secure for the user. Nowadays, majority of people have access to smartphones which makes the implementation of idea easier.[4] Home automation using android application makes it easier to interact with the home appliances. It uses 8-bit microprocessor, arduino that is used to control home appliances using relay. Bluetooth is used as a reliable form of communication for short distance. Sensors have been used for efficiency and safety. This paper provides an efficient approach in the field of home automation and reducing human efforts.[2]
