Card-less Automated Teller Machine: A New Simple Approach

In this growing era of technology, ATM is one of the greatest inventions which human being has come up and used. It has bonded the banks with their users, making their relationship more secure with time. At present, all ATM transactions are done with a smart card, which needs to be physically swiped at the ATM to perform any banking transactions. However, as time passes, there has been a surge in issues related to smart cards, such as card cloning, card expiration, card damaging, and many more. Henceforth, to address such problems, we thought of developing a standalone interface in CLI (Command Line Interface) mode using C Programming language with the help of an OTP technology to exclude the usage of smart cards from the main ATM system design. So, if such a system of interface gets implemented then, many problems related to ATM frauds and criminal activities can be reduced, which will eventually eliminate the financial burden placed on the customers for issuance and maintenance of the smart card.
