Abstract

Through this research paper, I hope to explain and provide an insight into the field of 3D Modelling and Designing with direct respect to Mechanical Engineering. Different aspects of Designing, in real-world scenarios, as well as their applications have been discussed throughout this paper. 3D CAD modelling and rendering has been described in detail, along with its advances and applications under mechanical engineering and product development. Practical terms and components of the product development process have been defined and explained in detail. Finally, a comprehensive case study into the mechanical aspects of building a F1 car is detailed with relevant applications of the terms discussed.
